ABOUT US

The Rummage family established the weRstars Foundation in 2018 to honor their husband and father, Randy, “Pap-Paw” Rummage, who was tragically killed in December 2013 by an impaired driver using prescription drugs.
Randy viewed life through a positive lens, focusing on the good in the world. He was a trusted friend and confidant who sought to bring out the best in people by serving and encouraging them to make choices that would brighten their own lives as well as the lives of those around them.
weRstars seeks to carry on the legacy of Randy Rummage’s optimism by awarding academic scholarships to graduating high school seniors who exhibit stellar potential in academics, in citizenship/community service, and in personal character.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to honor high school students who shine and make a difference in the world. As a foundation, we want to provide college scholarships to help these students achieve their educational goals and continue to pursue their “star potential.”

OUR PURPOSE
