Scholarship Application
The scholarships will be awarded to students who exhibit the following characteristics:
- Compassion towards those who suffer any limitations
- Inclusiveness for those on the fringe of social groups
- Positive “can do’’ attitude in troubling situations
- Consistent kindness to ALL people
- Uplift and encourage others by their words and example
Qualifications for Scholarship Applicants:
- Graduating senior
- Exemplifies good citizenship and community involvement
- Exemplary personal character
- Post high school education

All application materials need to be submitted to the Counseling Office or mailed to:

DATES: Applications are due no later than Monday, April 3, 2020.
APPLICATION MATERIALS:
To qualify for the scholarship, the graduating senior needs to submit:
- An official transcript
- A typed essay (see below for details)
- Two letters of recommendation from a high school teacher or administrator, coach, counselor, church leader, or employer.
ESSAY PROMPTS:
Please answer each of the following questions in 250 words or less.
- When is a time where you have led by the example of your kindness and inclusivity?
- How will the weRstars scholarship help you to achieve your post-high school plans?
- What do you feel the world needs more of and how can you offer that through your personal characteristics?
